Red's Story...
Red was found as a stray and stayed at a local city shelter for a year. The staff there did not want to euthanize him because he was such a sweet and loving boy. Red has not been neutered or tested for heartworms. He will be tested and neutered in the next few weeks. However, if you are interested in Red, please feel free to call or email me for more details. Red is approximately 2-3 years old. He is an outside down right now but his foster mom says he could be house trained easily. He loves belly rubs and cuddling. He also loves to play but does not require a lot of exercise. He looks like a short haired chow and his tounue is solid purple. Red's adoption fee is $75 which includes his vaccinations, rabies, neuter, etc.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Red, a Sealy Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Sealy, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Sealy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sealy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sealy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sealy paves the way for another one to be saved.
