Frosty's Story...
Frosty is a cute, active little black female kitten who is looking for a new forever home. She was born in August and surrendered soon after to PAWS. She had been living outside and still retains some of that "I'm a tough girl" personality. She purrs like a lion when you hold her but don't count on a lot of "cuddle time". Frosty is much more interested in running, playing and showing all the other cats just how "tough" she is - she plays HARD!

Shortly after she went into foster care we noticed that she had a wound on her neck. Our vet took a look at it (nothing serious) but shaved a small area during the exam. The funny thing about it (and the reason for her unusual name) was that when the hair began to grow back, it was pure black with "grey frosting"- a perfect circle! As she grew we noticed that her entire coat is sprinkled with grey hairs giving her a "frosted" look.

If you are looking for a small "bundle of energy" kitten Frosty could be just the girl for you. She has been spayed, is up-to-date on all her age appropriate vaccinations and has tested negative for Feleuk and FIV. If you are interested in Frosty, please contact PAWS at the e-mail link above and request an Application (the first step in adopting from PAWS). Her adoption fee is $70

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frosty, a Oklahoma City Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
