My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Hermie just had his neuter, so he's going to be wearing a cone head until 11/25/09. Herman, SWEET Herman! This wonderful boy is primarily a German Shorthaired Pointer - bred for hunting, complete with a shortened tail to allow him to dive through the woods and not get held up on branches and such. He's tall and lean, with a gorgeous rich brown coat. But that's just his breed. He was picked up roaming the streets, wearing a collar, but nobody came to claim him. "Wow. Someone lost a really good dog," the vet said. It doesn't take long to fall in love with this boy and he leaves a small fan-club behind everywhere he goes. He had a doggie cold when we first got him into LR, but took everything like a champ and still wanted to play and wag. Herman wants to please! It doesn't seem like he's had leash training, but with his temperament, we don't think it would take much work. He's a lower-medium energy boy so far. Mostly, he walks around his foster home with a smile on his face, and ears back, like he's the most content dog in the world. However, he carries that attitude everywhere. This boy REALLY wants a new, permanent home where he can be someone's favorite companion. And he deserves it!! He's an easy-going stud, who likes to play fetch. He loves to be pet, and leans his head in for a good rub. Herman is the best!!!
