Buddy's Story...
The name "Buddy" definitely fits me! I'm a big moosh - I love to give kisses and snuggle up to you in between bouts of hopping around and playing tug-of-war with my leash. I'm not completely housebroken yet, but I'm a quick learner - I already know that whenever I go to the bathroom outside that I'm going to get a treat. I was just admitted from a shelter where I grew up a little too long. I only had an accident on the first day in my foster home! I'm starting to go to the door when I need to use the bathroom, so I figure it's only a matter of time before I am completely housebroken! I'm starting to really understand the phrase "leave it" when I (occasionally!) put something in my mouth that I'm not supposed to. I also wag my tail quite a bit when I hear "good boy!" My foster mom says that I'm going to be easy to train because I also stop whatever it is that I'm doing when I hear "no..."

I'm pretty small - I'm only about 4 or 5 months old, and I'm about 30 pounds. I do have super long legs and funny paws - I sometimes hop around on them when I get excited like a little bunny. I'm not sure exactly what kind of a "mix" I am - I've been told that I could have anything/everything from pitbull to hound to lab in me! Whatever the mix though, it works - I'm absolutely adorable! Everyone loves me - all of the neighborhood kids and dogs, and even the other dog in the house seems to think I'm alright, which is really saying something! From what my foster mom says, she can be pretty "difficult" when it comes to liking other dogs...

I'm confident and stable. I really like my crate and barely whine or cry at all. Sometimes I go in there on my own, and even when my foster mom or dad put me in there when they leave the house, I lay down and go right to sleep. I think pretty much any home would work for me - one with kids or without, with another dog or without, preferably a female one. Although I don't have any real experience with cats (at least not in my foster home), I have seen them on the street and I don't freak out. Like all puppies, I love to play and exercise as much as I love snuggles and atten tion. If you think you can give me these things, I promise you, you won't be sorry! I'll promise to be your "buddy" forever!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Framingham Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Framingham, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Framingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Framingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Framingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Framingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
