Princess's Story...
Princess is very easily one of the sweetest cats at the refuge. She came to us with her litter of 9 cats from Moncure, NC. Most of her litter have the distinctive marks on their faces that allow us to easily identify them as the 'Moncure cats'. Princess does not have a mean bone in her body and loves other cats just as much as she does people. She is truly a cat that will bask in the glow of a loving home.

About Our Shelter...
Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses 150-200 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
