Baby's Story...
: Baby must have a guardian angel watching over her. She has made quite a few journeys in her short 5 years of life and has narrowly escaped danger on more than 1 occasion. Baby was relinquished to a city shelter after her owner's home burned to the ground. She was outside in her back yard when the fire broke out, which saved her life. You may have heard about her (and the owner's less-fortunate cats) on the local news. You would think a dog who had been through such a terrifying experience would be skittish, fearful and withdrawn. Baby is just the opposite. She appears to be perfectly well-adjusted, happy, friendly and very full of life. She has been an absolute delight in her foster home - very easy to care for and gets along well with everyone. Baby looks like a miniature version of a yellow Lab. She only weighs about 30 lbs. and stands about 2' tall at the shoulders. Baby enjoys her play time, but is also very well-behaved and calm indoors. Baby enjoys going for car rides and will sit calmly in the back seat. This is one very special, very beautiful little dog. Baby is spayed and fully vaccinated. She came to us with heartworms, but is currently undergoing treatment. She will be as good as new before the end of June. After all that Baby has been through so far, she really needs the love and stability of a permanent home. Baby has earned the right to exhale. If you would like to be Baby's mom and/or dad, please email us today at **Applicants must have a verifiable history with a vet. Local inquiries only, please.**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby, a Carrollton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
