Augusta's Story...
Augusta is a sweet girl looking for her forever home. She'll need some time to warm up to her new person, but once she knows you, she becomes highly affectionate and quite endearing. She loves rubbing against your legs, and climbing into your lap, when you're still enough. She has lived in our shelter ever since she was only five months old (since October 2003). Augusta had most of her teeth pulled, due to gum inflammation. She is in great health now, and though she prefers canned food, she can still eat dry. SG4F can make special arrangements for you to meet Augusta in her foster home.

About Our Rescue Group...
We began as a TNR group in late 2001, but became a non-profit rescue group on January 14, 2002, with a 501 (c)(3) status. We rescue abandoned, stray, homeless cats throughout Pitt County, as well as many from Animal Control. We also do TNR for many cat colonies in and around Greenville, and provide for their daily feeding. We were instrumental in starting Pitt County's first low-cost spay/neuter clinic--Spay Today. We are an all volunteer organization, and all we do is simply for the love of cats.

Come Meet Our Pets...
We show cats for adoption at Petsmart, 600 Greenville Blvd. SE, Greenville, NC, the first two weeks and the fifth week of each month. A calendar of the days and hours we will be at Petsmart is located on our website www.savinggraces4felines.com. We also gladly respond to requests by phone or email when potential adopters wish to meet one of our cats, and we make arrangements to meet with them one-on-one.

Our Adoption Process...
Potential adopters must fill out an application form and be interviewed. Once approved, an adoption fee of $75.00 for most cats is required. Declawed cats have an adoption fee of $100.00. Purebred cats have adoption fees of $125.00--$200.00.
