Grayson's Story...
Hi, I'm Grayson. I'm Cloud and Gladly's brother. I haven't been living with them in the shelter, I've been at my shelter mom's house with some of our other kitties. While I love playing with Beiijo, Elrond, Nessa and Abby I would really love a home of my own - could it be yours?

Mom has taught me how wonderful it is to have a family that loves me and that I can love back. I especially love going to bed at night and sleeping on the bed where we can all cuddle.

If you're looking for a best friend who will always be glad to see you and will sit with you and listen to how your day was and who will keep you cozy warm at night (because I don't just sleep with you - I sort of sleep on you), then I'm your guy. Come on down to PetSmart in Conyers on Saturday and let's get acquainted.

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $50 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.

If you are interested in providing a home for Grayson, please go to our website, download our adoption application and email it to us at afsga@att.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grayson, a Monroe Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Monroe, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
