Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lil used to live at a horse barn, but after spending the first 2 years outside, she was more than ready for a comfortable life indoors.
When we first brought Lil into the shelter, it was because we thought she was going to have more kittens. We waited patiently for the little darlings to arrive, but Lil didn't seem to be progressing. While she had this little round tummy, she didn't seem to be in hurry to deliver. Finally we took her to the doctor to make sure everything was okay. It seems that during her life outside, her diet wasn't always the greatest, and she was not pregnant - she had a bit of gas.
Now that she's been spayed and she is on a good steady diet, Lil doesn't have her little round tummy any more and is just loving her life of leisure.
She is the daintiest, quietest, cleanest, tidiest little cat we've ever known. Lil would make the perfect companion for someone who is looking for a devoted, but quiet friend. She does enjoy playing with her toys, but also loves to just relax, cuddle and enjoy life. All she asks is love and a comfy lap or bed. She is so happy to be inside, have a nice dinner and get lots of love. Come and meet this little sweetheart - she'll steal your heart and give you hers in return.
At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.
Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.
If you are interested in providing a home for Lil, please go to our website, download our adoption application and email it to us at afsga@att.net.
