Cooper's Story...
Cooper is a very sweet, loving and loyal dog. He is a mix between a labrador retreiver and a cattle dog. He also tends to be an escape artist, so a home with high fencing/walls would be needed. Other than that, he's the perfect dog! We recued Cooper from a shelter, where he was scheduled to be shipped to a lab for use of research up in Northern California. Cooper was one of the 6 dogs we saved during that escapade. We believe he is just under a year old. Please call or email if you are interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Northridge Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Northridge, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Northridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Northridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Northridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Northridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
