Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Pea came to Good Mews after her beloved guardian passed away from pancreatic cancer. While her mom was sick, Sweet Pea stayed by her side day and night to comfort her. After her mom died, Sweet Pea was alone in her house with just someone coming by daily to feed her. Imagine her loneliness and isolation! She’s a social girl and became very sad and withdrawn without her human companion.
Sweet Pea then went to live with a foster mom where she was happy to have attention again, but was a little scared by a new environment with three resident cats. She quickly became friends with the youngest cat, but was apprehensive of the two older ones. With her young friend, Sweet Pea ran up and down the hallways and had lots of fun. She will probably do best in a house that has one or two cats, but no dogs or young kids since she’s never been around them. She could also be an only cat, as long as she gets lots of attention and affection! She loves to be a lap cat and will sit and purr and enjoy being petted for hours. She even liked belly rubs from her foster mom!
Because of the recent changes in her life, Sweet Pea may take a couple weeks to warm up to a new home, but she’ll enrich that home with her sweet meows, loving head rubs and lots of lap time!
Sweet Pea is front declawed.
