Mingo's Story...
ADOPTED!
Mingo is a tiny 6 pound 15 yr old male Chihuahua that we rescued from the North Central Animal Shelter. He came to us with severe skin allergies, severe dental disease, and a thyroid condition. We had to have most of his teeth removed and have him on thyroid meds. This poor little guy was brough in by his owner and dumped in the shelter. they didnt want him anymore. He is a little love bug and so sweet, loves to curl up in your arms and look deeply into your eyes! He does also have some spinal issues, arthritis, but boy he can still run and get around just fine. He is great with other dogs, but not with kids and cats.....wont you please give little Mingo a chance! he will make you smile and laugh for hours. he is such a little character!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mingo, a Studio City Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Studio City, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Studio City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Studio City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Studio City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Studio City paves the way for another one to be saved.
