Sherman's Info...

I am a special needs pet, not good with kids, and good with birds.

Sherman's Story...
Sherman is an unsexed African Grey Congo who's owner has passed away from cancer. He is being fostered and is very sensitive, and has quite a bit of feather destructive evidence. His previous dad's brother said he started to pick when hi dad went into the hospital for the last time. He is sweet but timid, quacks, and laughs like a clown! I love this bird and want him to go to a home that will love him as much as I do. Please go to , read the entire adoption section and if you qualify, fill out the adoption application as thoroughly as possible and I will contact you via e mail or phone.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherman, a Fountain Valley African Grey was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a African Grey for sale in Fountain Valley, or seeking a African Grey from a breeder in Fountain Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fountain Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fountain Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even African Grey breeders who help with African Grey rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fountain Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
