TALON's Story...
Talon is a 5 month old pup that was just taken into rescue along with his brother, Torin, due to the owner undergoing personal crises. He is predominately Malamute, Dad looks mostly Mal with maybe some Siberian Husky in him, Mom appears purebred. Talon is very sweet and eager to please and still learning all about the big wide world. He gets along with the cat in his foster home and loves to be around other dogs. He also plays nice with children as young as five. He will need a home that will continue to work on his socialization and training. Talon is neutered, microchipped and current on innoculations. Please get your applications in early if you are interested in one of these little guys, they won't last long.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TALON, a Boise Alaskan Malamute puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Boise, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute puppy from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
