Radar's Story...

Radar is a neutered male who was born on June 30, 2009.

Radar is a very friendly kitty, good with dogs, cats and older kids would be best. He loves to be where you are. Loves to play and see what is going on. His favorite place to sleep is in his foster families beds. He can be a little sassy at times, when he is nervous, but this attitude passes fast.

Radar was rescued from living a very difficult outdoor life. At 6 wks old, he was living in a parking lot with his sibling. Unfortunately his sibling was hit by one of the trucks there and killed, the owners decided that was not going to happen to Radar so they took him in. Here he is cute and fun, looking for his loving indoor home. Are you his forever family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Radar, a Howell Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Howell, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
