Bekkah's Story...
Bekkah is a lovely and lovable young lady. She is one of Chloe's puppies. You can see Chloe in the "Happy Homes" section of our website. Bekkah and her siblings were born on Feb. 1 of this year. They were abandoned in an old trailer park in Grayson County, when their original owner moved away. Luckily, an animal lover came to their rescue and brought Chloe and her pups into a foster home. Chloe and some of her pups have already found their forever homes. Bekkah, and her brothers: Buddy and Ethan are still waiting for homes of their own. All the pups are very social and loving. They never meet a stranger. These pups love to play, love to cuddle and are very entertaining to watch. Chloe is predominantly Border Collie. All the pups took after their daddy, looks-wise, because they are all black and tan. We think the daddy is a Shepherd mix. Chloe weighs 70 lbs., so we think the pups will be about that size when they're full-grown. If you are ready for the responsibility of puppyhood and are prepared for the needs of a big dog a few months down the road, you couldn't ask for better family companions than these precious pups. Bekkah and her siblings have been neutered/spayed, wormed and are current on their shots. We would like to find them families who will get the pups into positive reinforcement-based obedience training (and maybe even canine sports) to make the most of their intelligence level. If you are interested in Bekkah, Buddy or Ethan please complete our on-line application today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bekkah, a Carrollton Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
