My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Excellent companion or family pet! Handsome fellow of 2 years and 55 pounds. Friendly, happy boy. Loves people. Willing to please disposition. Quick to learn. Has been accepting of other dogs and children. We do not know about cats. This breed is best with a fenced in large yard and active family to meet exercise needs...........Loving home needed - he will return the affection. Housebroke, continued work with leash walking needed, crate trained. Neutered, vaccines up to date, heartworm negative and prevention started. Taking applications. Please email for one or with questions. Adoption fee $175 --12/01/09 Surgery completed -- eye-lid has healed -- doing wonderful! Surgery scheduled for Nov 3 to correct Sidney's lower eye lid from rolling inward irritating his eye / cornea. Many days he's unable to keep his eye open. Donations are still needed. Cost for eyelid repair along with neutering = $320. This is our goal. Please consider donating for Sidney's eye surgery. The IGive organization assisting with donations has a pre-set amount. It can be increased. We do apologize for the inconvenience of the pre-set amounts. Click on the button below: Or mail donation to : DOGWORKS, INC. P.O. BOX 351256 TOLEDO, OHIO 43635. ATTN: Sidney's eye surg. Thank you......................................BREED DESCRIPTION: The pointer needs exercise, and lots of it. He enjoys running and searching, so fenced in spacious yard for exercise best. They should not be expected to sit inside all day. The pointer needs canine or human companionship and does far better when allowed to spend time with his family. Generally excellent family pets for the active family willing to include / interact with their pet. Summary: Gentle and sweet but also can be energetic and boisterous at times. Life span upward to 15 years. SIDNEY is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
