POSTED 12/1/09: Oliver is an 8 week old male neutered. cream and tabby lynx point, long haired Himalayan/Ragdoll mix kitten. He is very sweet and loving. He gets along well with other kittens. Oliver was found by a homeless person and turned over to rescue. All of our cats and kittens have been leukemia tested, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, spayed or neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our adoption fee is $100 to help cover a portion of the medical expenses. Please e-mail me at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an adoption application if you are interested in helping Oliver. You can also speak to our coordinator, Robin, who is at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville from 11am-5pm each Sat and Sun during our adoption hours. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Putnam Hall Ragdoll kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Putnam Hall, or seeking a Ragdoll kitten from a breeder in Putnam Hall.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Putnam Hall already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Putnam Hall breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Putnam Hall paves the way for another one to be saved.
