LOVES LOVES to Swim and play fetch, fun fun fun dog, loves to camp and hike in nature
Natural SPLASH DOG

Mozart is deaf, around 4 years old,he's a cute 55-60 fluffy, healthy pounds with a handsome merle coat and sky blue eyes, it's his pink nose that is the cutest thing of all with a few spreckles of black

Mozart lives life to the fullest and looking for a fun and active home, he does not know that he's deaf nor does he care he acts like any other dog just instead of speaking to him you use your hands and body to signal him and he's real good about looking at you for signals he must have another dog his size to play with and the other dog acts like his ears

At his foster he can be off leash when they go hiking and camping and once bonded to new family and with another dog at his side he can do so there as well as he has other dogs there that help him (you call one dog he comes running along as well)

He is fostered with 3 other dogs and his best pal is a very dominate fem GS bigger than he is, one of the dogs is a 12 pound older Min Pin, he's fine with all but looking for a best pal, think a large female dog would suit him best since that's who he has now

He loves the outdoors, camping, hiking, swimming, fetching the ball and fun times

he's well trained and will be a good calm boy after he gets his daily activities in, we are looking for someone that has another active younger dog or two his size to play with, a good fenced yard and making him part of daily family life

don't let your fear of "oh my god he's deaf" scare you away from a great dog, he's no different than a hearing dog in his own opinion and sign language is easy.

If kids at home over 12 best or adult home as he has not lived with kids but respectful visiting kids are fine of any age as he has been around younger visiting kids and toddlers in foster

he's not a barker because he's deaf he can't hear other dogs bark but still a good protector of his home and family

A country home (or outskirts of town) he would love with lots of fenced space and maybe even a pond to swim in, or a beach dog, as long as he gets plenty of daily exercise, jogging partner etc you name it

adopter will have fosters support in helping with sign language and any questions before and after adoption for however long need be

adoption fee, home check, vet references, fenced yard (a must), deaf dog experience or willing to learn
