My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clover is a young (we think under a year) petite female BC that survived a long summer running loose in/around a sunflower field outside a small Nebraska town. Caring folks would leave food out for her, but as winter rolled in, a good samaritan set a live trap since that was the only way to catch her before the snow flew. After being caught, Clover spent a terrifying couple of weeks in a vet clinic -- she was scared of people, scared of other dogs, scared of noise, scared of eeeeeverything, so they called us for help.

Clover arrived in rescue in late November 2009, and within two days began playing with and happily interacting with other dogs; less than two weeks later, she'll tentatively approach her foster 'mom' for ear scritches and a kiss on the nose! She's got a long way to go to learn that the world can be a great place, but she's well on her way -- now if we could just convince her that a camera is not a One Eyed BC Eating Monster!

We'll post more info on Clover as she continues to navigate beyond her fears, and will post more pics as well. Clover is fully vetted and is being fostered near Casper, WY.
