Harley-Courtesy Post's Story...
Meet Harley! This sweet little boy was rescued from a kill pound in the nick of time! And boy is he grateful. He is full of hugs and kisses. Harley is about 5 months old, and is currently in a foster home. He is up-to-date on all his shots and already neutered. Harley shares his foster home with three other dogs and loves their companionship. He's a typical puppy with energy - he loves to play with his toys and chew on his bones. Harley also loves to lay in your lap. He is already housebroken. What more could you ask for in a puppy?

If you would like to consider giving Harley a home for the holidays, please contact Janine at 216-224-3159 or Kristin at 216-798-3154. Harley is sponsored by For the Dogs Rescue. Janine or Kristin can fill you in on the adoption process when you call.

**Note: Harley is not at the Berea Shelter. Please contact Kristin or Janine directly for more info.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley-Courtesy Post, a Berea Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berea, or seeking a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
