Teddy's Story...
Teddy was born in May 2008. The day he came from the shelter to where a group of us were at Petco with other dogs he immediately hugged all the people and started playing with the dogs. He is very, very well adjusted and just loves life! He is a very handsome deaf boy with striking blue eyes. Teddy gets along great with other dog as well with kitties. He would do best in a home with a yard to play in as well as a pool. Teddy loves to go for a swim and is definitely a pool kind of guy! Teddy is current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Mesa Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
