My name is Wiskers!

Domestic Longhair Cat for adoption in Pittsford, Vermont - Wiskers

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Wiskers's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Wiskers's Story...
8-month-old. Neutered Male. Orange & White Domestic Long Hair. 8.8Ibs.

I was found as a baby wandering around in some bushes. My last family kept me for a while, but then had to bring me to the Rutland County Humane Society when they moved to a place that did not allow cats. Before they moved they taught me to walk on a leash which I like. I also lived with kids and that was good. I purr a lot and can generally be described as a happy cat. I’m cheap and easy to entertain – I like to chase balls of crumpled up paper and lounge in the windowsill.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wiskers, a Pittsford Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Pittsford, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Pittsford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsford paves the way for another one to be saved.
