Champagne's Story...
Champagne is a loving and adorable 9 lb, 2-year-old (long-hair) Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix who was abandoned at the city pound by owners who claimed no time for him. Champagne is the kind of dog who lives to be pampered and held. He loves being picked up and sitting on a human lap. Champagne would be the ideal pet for either one person or a mature couple who like to "baby" their dog. Champagne would not be the appropriate dog for a busy, active family or a working home where the little dog would be alone for long hours every day. Other dogs OK. If interested in this healthy and loving little cutie, please CALL us (NOT email) at (212) 427-8273. Previous dog experience and a checkable vet reference a MUST! Champagne is a total joy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Champagne, a New York Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pomeranian for sale in New York, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pomeranian breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
