My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spare – male, neutered, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested (-), 2yrs, ~25lbs, Whippet/Boston Terrier mix.

Spare is sort of a “unique” looking guy which seems to mean people are over looking him at the shelter. We decide to name him “Spare” because the shelter has decided to spare him the fate of being euthanized and has sent him to our rescue. He also sort of looks like he is made up of spare parts – tall and lean, a tail that can’t decide if it’s curly or not and a funny little head with pointy ears. Don’t let the wisps of grey around his muzzle fool you, he isn’t that old. Spare gets along well with other dogs, cats and respectful children of any age. He is house trained and crate trained but may need a house training refresher after his stay at the pound. Spare is a nice, well mannered mature dog who will make a great companion for a family looking for a dog passed the mischievous puppy stages. Spare loves a daily walk and someone to cuddle with. Someone wants to give this unique fella a chance at life don’t they?!
