My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emily’s story is one of those heartbreaking ones. She was dumped at our local kill shelter, just skin and bones. We saw in her eyes such kindness and a will to survive, so she came to Cedar Farm to get some meat on her bones and lots of love. She has always been a very friendly, sociable dog, but she has really enjoyed all of the extra attention that she has gotten here while recovering from the earlier human neglect. Emily enjoys other dogs and does ok with our cats. She loves people and will be wonderful with children. She doesn’t jump up and is very obedient. She has a very kind and loving soul and is anxious to meet her new forever family. Emily weighs 37 lbs and is 18 mos. old. She walks wonderfully on leash and is very well-behaved. She’s crate trained and housebroken. She does need to go out first thing in the morning for a quick potty break before you start the coffee. Emily is spayed, up to date on her shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm, flea and tick preventative. Email cedarfarm@yadtel.net for an adoption application or call Tony (336) 251-8877 with any questions.
