Maisy's Story...
Hey, Let's make this an easy one, I'm not much of a talker...
First off, I'm great with other dogs, children 4+ and I've even lived with cats- I like them too!
Second, I know lots of commands, I am crate trained and I'm housebroken already.
Third, I can be a little shy at first, but it doesn't hinder me at all, I just like security and stability which I hope you can offer! Give me a permanent hope and I'll be the happy, loving pet you deserve! Easy enough, right? 20 months old-55lbs.  My adoption fee is $160 and includes; microchip, spay, reduced cost Training Class, 1 month pet health insurance, Free veterinary exam , leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maisy, a Portland Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
