Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shamus just arrived from a local over crowded animal control. After rigorous temperament testing (which he passed with flying colors), he is an awesome boy, great with all humans, dogs and he ignores cats. He is about 65 pounds 1 year old; and as you can see he is a unique looking dog. We and our vet are pretty certain he is a black and tan Labradoodle but "big shaggy dog" pretty much fits. He knows sit, down, shake and he is housebroken too. He is great in the car , just chills out and goes along for the ride.At night he sleeps on his dog bed and never moves till morning. He is really an exceptional dog who would love to have a second chance at life. If you think Shamus might be the boy for you, call his Foster Mom Jen 630-851-9909 to fill out an application and start the adoption process. Shamus is fully vetted and ready for his new home! We are a small group of caring volunteers and a home visit is requirement of adoption, therefore local adoptions only please (within 50 miles of Naperville/Chicago)
