Yancy's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Yancy's Story...
Yancy was a surrender to our shelter from a gentleman who had too many dogs & decided to surrender him so we could find him a good home. He is up to date on his shots. He appears to be a Border/Collie & English Setter mix. He's approx one year in age. Yancy is filling out nicely :-) He has always been an outside dog so he is not housebroken. He has been around other dogs & we have noticed at the shelter that he seems to do okay around cats. Yancy is pretty shy & will back away from you when you go up to him but he will warm up nicely once he is around you a while. He has a beautiful face & walks really well. If you have any questions you can email us at friendsoa@yahoo.com or call us at 563-886-2361. Adoption fee: $90

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yancy, a Tipton Border Collie/English Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/English Shepherd for sale in Tipton, or seeking a Border Collie/English Shepherd dog from a breeder in Tipton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tipton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tipton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/English Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/English Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tipton paves the way for another one to be saved.
