Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rex and Trinka were taken into rescue on Mothers Day 2004, along with their other sister, Macy (who has already been adopted). The breeder couldn't 'get rid' of all of the puppies and called animal control to pick them up. The three 6 week old pups were living under a porch. When they would not come to the AC officer, he put a snare pole around their little necks and dragged them out. Then he took them to an overcrowded shelter. How scary is that? In spite of his start in life, Rex is an outgoing dog, very active and smart. He is now 16 months old and is truly a gentle giant. He will likely be about 110 pounds when he’s finished filling out. Rex loves to play ball and chasing birds and butterflies are his latest obsession. He gets along well with other dogs, but not cats.
This dog is neutered, up to date on shots and HW free. Adoption application, home visit, and $200 adoption fee are required.
