Bubba's Info...

I am already neutered.

Bubba's Story...
I am a 2 year old yellow, almost white, male Lab who is already neutered, current on all my shots and tested heartworm negative. I am on heart worm preventative as well as flea and tick preventative. I am high energy and love to be outside running or walking although I am still working on walking nice on a leash.

I would really like to be the alpha dog and like to prove it with new dogs. I get along great with my foster brothers and sisters but they explained to me who was in charge and it’s not me. I am crated at night but I really don’t like it. I also am housetrained using a dog door. I do know some commands like sit, down and stay. I also love to play fetch. I would love to be in a family with children who would like to play with me. I would do fine with another dog that is not to submissive or as an only dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubba, a Overland Park Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
