Charlie's Story...
Introducing Charlie! If you are in the market for the perfect family dog, please consider charming Charlie. He is wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids. He is housetrained and crate trained and walks well on a leash. The one thing we can't figure out about Charlie is what breed he is! He has the coloring of a Shepherd, a Lab head, fluffy Border Collie ears, a Shar Pei tail, a Hound/Beagle body.... However, we ARE sure this is one loving dog, gentle, calm, and appreciative of attention. He has mastered the knack of nudging your hand just the right way to get you to keep petting him. Charlie has been in a foster home for some time where he learned how to be a great companion, but he is at the shelter now hoping to connect with his forever home. Please help this jolly dog find his own happy ending.

Please contact Janine or Mike for more info on this one in a million dog 216-224-3159. You can also visit Charlie at the shelter - he loves visitors!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Berea German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Berea, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
