Hancock's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Hancock's Story...
This is Hancock, a handsome 1-2 year old, 57 pound boy. Looks like a lab with possibly some husky? He's a friendly boy and absolutely loves children. Hancock is fine with most dogs, but a little too playful around cats (he hasn't been taught the all-important lesson yet by a cat :) He has good table manners and lays down on the floor while you eat. He is housebroken, crate-trained and walks well on leash with a choke collar. Hancock is very patient and will lay down on the floor anywhere you are - watching tv, doing homework or working on the computer. He has already demonstrated a propensity to learning new things and showing how much he enjoys having a family. Since he loves to run and play, he should be adopted to a family that will provide lots of exercise opportunities. (He would also make a good running partner!). With all that said, it's obvious Hancock will make a loyal and fun-loving companion to his lucky new human(s).

Hancock's adoption fee of $290 includes: vet exam, flea preventative, heartworm test, DHPP (distemper-parvo combo) vaccination, rabies vaccination, bordetella vaccination, deworming, microchip and neutering.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hancock, a Mt. Prospect Labrador Retriever/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Husky for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Husky dog from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Husky breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
