Faith's Story...
Introducing Faith. She is one of our F litter puppies who came to us from NC at just 3 weeks old. Their mom had died and they were going to be euthanized, so BDBH stepped in and rescued them. They were in rough shape when they arrived and we lost one that night (RIP Fyurie can be seen on our rainbow bridge page) but with lots of TLC and long nights, the rest of the litter made it through with flying colors. Despite a rough start in life, the pups are outgoing, loving and very social!
Faith is a 7 week old Australian shepherd mix. She is a very sweet little girl. Faith is very playful and feisty. She loves to play with the adult dogs and kids
12/28- Faith is now 12 weeks old and ready to find her forever home. She is well on her way to being housebroken and is very good in her crate. She loves to play with other dogs and kids. Faith is very sweet and cuddly. She loves to be held and will lie on your lap for hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Faith, a Rochester/Buffalo Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
