Byron's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Byron's Story...
This gorgeous boy is a 1 1/2 year-old, 65 pound Pit/Mastiff mix who we saved from being put down at the city shelter. Not only does Byron happen to be devastatingly handsome, but he's housetrained, crate-trained, and an absolute love! He's a big, strong, goofy, very affectionate guy who loves people and would be a terrific family dog. Aside from pulling on the leash and jumping up to greet people, he's a well-behaved guy. He plays well with other friendly dogs who share his full-contact wrestle/play style and he even lets cats boss him around! He also enjoys going for rides in the car.

Byron is healthy, neutered, up-to-date with his vaccinations, and microchipped. Adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Byron, a Brooklyn American Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
