Autumn's Story...
Loving, affectionate, joyful, highly intelligent Autumn is looking for her forever-home where she can finally rest her head with the wonderful security that only a permanent home can bring. This sweet girl has demonstrated just how smart she is in the weekly BadRap training classes she's been taking since becoming a resident of the shelter. Autumn would be a great one-person dog, quickly becoming an unflinchingly loyal companion who would make feelings of loneliness distant memories. Autumn would also be a great family dog: she can run and frolic with the energy of a puppy and would undoubtedly soon become "one of the kids." This special dog will bring a warmth and fullness to your home that only an appreciative adult dog can bring-- and with the extra dose of special love that Autumn adds to any human interaction, we are pretty sure you will feel you have been blessed by the presence of an exceptional canine.

Act quickly to adopt Autumn. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
