Sassy's Story...
My name is Sassy. I was born in April of 2004. My mommy was a Blue Healer cow dog and dad was a black lab. I have boundless energy and I am a smart girl. I like little kids. I do not do well with cats. I am good with other dogs. I can and do jump and climb over fences up to 6 feet tall and I can dig a hole in a heartbeat when I am bored and have no one to play with me. I need a home with people or dogs around to keep me occupied. I am a very shy even around the people I love. I was left alone for my most impressionable months and so I am shy around everyone. Also, I have Demodectic Mange. I am not contagious to you or any other animals. This is a hereditary condition I got from my mom when I was born. I can be treated for it if/and when it pops up. Please don't hold that against me. If you would like to adopt me, please call Niki Henderson at 979-877-0980. Fill out an adoption application and once you are approved, you can take me home. My adoption fee is $75 and includes all my shots and my being spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sassy, a Sealy Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler for sale in Sealy, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Sealy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sealy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sealy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sealy paves the way for another one to be saved.
