John Boy: Long on ears!'s Story...
One of our adorable, 10 week old Walkers. Expected to be Medium to Large (around 50 pounds) when full grown. Could be purebred or part beagle... we just can't say for sure. Requested donation is $195 for vet care. Did you know that Coonhounds make great family pets? That's because they are rarely aggressive, get along with kids, dogs.... just about everyone! In other words... a "low liability" dog that you won't be afraid to have the neighbor kids aorund.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

John Boy: Long on ears!, a King of Prussia Treeing Walker Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in King of Prussia, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound puppy from a breeder in King of Prussia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in King of Prussia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a King of Prussia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in King of Prussia paves the way for another one to be saved.
