My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Puggsley and, yes, I am a Pug. I was abandoned by my family along with my friends, Peanut and Spike. Fortunately we were all brought to MaxFund where we are being cared for by kind staff and volunteers, enjoying good food and receiving much needed medical treatment. We are all doing OK now and are looking forward to finding our forever homes. I don’t need to be adopted with either of my friends. Of course if you want two little Pugs (me and Penit) that would be great! You may have heard the saying “two pugs are twice as nice!”
I just love people – “friendly” is my second name! I am a mellow kinda guy and like other dogs too. I am not sure what cats are and so I would need to meet one before considering living with one. I am quite a mature fellow being about 11 years old but with that maturity comes an excellent happy spirit and a calm and reassuring presence.

I love going for walks and walk politely on a leash. I tend to snort, snuffle and sniff quite a bit (I am a pug!) so you can tell that I am enjoying myself. Pugs were bred as companions to Royalty in China and it is obvious that I just love being a gentlemanly companion. I am used to living in a house and have slept on my human’s bed but I will need housetraining guidance.
