Aptly named Boots for the striking white paws that highlight her rich ebony coat, this 9-year-old beauty, with one ear up and one down, is subtly showing off her impish side. A sweet Pit bull terrier, she is gentleness paws-onified, and loves nothing more than playing with toys and demonstrating her undimmed athletic grace and prowess. Bright Boots knows her basic commands, walks wonderfully on le ash, and is both crate and house trained. Although she would be fine with older children, beautiful Boots would do best in a home as the only pet, and would require a privacy fence with the “neighborly” side in to keep her safely contained always.
Boots is eligible for our “Forever Foster” program. While you provide the setting and the love, we will provide for her expenses. Forever.
We require that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments. We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home. Our adoption process may be found on our website at www.bitofheaven.org

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
