Jazzy's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Jazzy's Story...
Jazzy came into a shelter as a stray and was a real stinker when she was there - shaking, growly and nippy. Little dogs often do poorly in a shelter environment - too scary with the big dogs barking. They couldn't adopt out a dog who was nippy so the only alternatives for Jazzy were rescue or euthanasia. Of course we took her into rescue. As we have seen, time and time again, once she came to a home environment, she was perfectly fine - friendly, playful and affectionate. Jazzy is a red and white long coat chihuahua, about 3 years old and weighs 6 pounds. Yes, I should have brushed her before I took her pix but still, she's a real looker, wouldn't you say?

The adoption fee for Jazzy is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jazzy, a House Springs Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
