Lily's Story...
Lily and Maddie weren't very interested in getting their pictures taken, but while these shots aren't that great I think you can still tell she is adorable. Lily and her siblings Maddie and Nugget are about 4 months old and in need of a forever home. These sweet little babies were found at just 7 days old with no mommy cat to care for them. We took them into foster care and had to bottle feed them. Lily is mostly white with black splotches in her body and head. And she has the most adorable little triangle of black on her nose. They are all very sweet and playful. Her foster mom has nicknamed her "Lily Monster" because she likes to hide and then jump onto your back or shoulders when you weren't expecting it and scare the dickens out of you. Lily also loves water and you can frequently find her in the bathtub or sink.

Lily (as with all of our kittens) has been vet checked, dewormed, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV/Felv. Fill out an application below if you are interested in Lily or any of our other kittens.

LILY IS CURRENTLY IN OUR ADOPTION CENTER AT THE PETCO IN PISCATAWAY ALONG WITH HER SIBLINGS. YOU CAN SEE THEM DURING STORE HOURS.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Bernardsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bernardsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bernardsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bernardsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bernardsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bernardsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
