Ray's Story...
Ray was a stray that a nice woman was feeding and looking at for. Her apartment building did not allow animals so the best she could do for him was feed him on her patio and try to keep him safe. When she found out that someone had locked him in a utility room, she realized that he needed to be in a safe place so she contacted our group and we agreed to take him in for her. He's a darling boy, very loving and sweet and will make a wonderful companion for someone. He was born approximately in October of 2008.
If you are interested in meeting Ray, please go to our website: and fill out the application on his page (11) and we will contact you as soon as we have received it. If you have any additional questions, you can contact Sharon at 626/676-7648 or e-mail her at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ray, a Pasadena Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Pasadena, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Pasadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pasadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pasadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pasadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
