Mia's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Mia's Story...
Mia is approximately 2 years old and a real love bug. She was confiscated as part of a neglect case and came into the animal control at around 25 lbs. She's now 48 lbs and her rough start in life has not put even a hint of a damper on her attitude about life. She's mild-mannered, walks well on leash, loves belly rubs, interacts nicely with most other dogs, and is quite athletic. She's iffy around cats so she should not be in a home with a cat. She is a sweet, petite girl with a charming smile who deserves a loving home.
Update - Mia really enjoyed the wading pool, so we took her to the river. She had a blast! This is a water loving dog. We suspect she'd do great in the swimming pool. Mia is getting used to her crate and is also learning how to ride in the car without coming to the front seats. Her manners are better than the dogs at the foster home she goes to on the weekends. We think Mia would do okay with older kids, but is too energetic for small kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Sacramento American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
