Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mia is approximately 2 years old and a real love bug. She was confiscated as part of a neglect case and came into the animal control at around 25 lbs. She's now 48 lbs and her rough start in life has not put even a hint of a damper on her attitude about life. She's mild-mannered, walks well on leash, loves belly rubs, interacts nicely with most other dogs, and is quite athletic. She's iffy around cats so she should not be in a home with a cat. She is a sweet, petite girl with a charming smile who deserves a loving home.
Update - Mia really enjoyed the wading pool, so we took her to the river. She had a blast! This is a water loving dog. We suspect she'd do great in the swimming pool. Mia is getting used to her crate and is also learning how to ride in the car without coming to the front seats. Her manners are better than the dogs at the foster home she goes to on the weekends. We think Mia would do okay with older kids, but is too energetic for small kids.
