My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vera is the strangest little cat you'll ever meet. She growls and tenses up and her ears disappear when you approach her cage, but if you ignore her vicious cat routine and pick her up, she relaxes and starts purring. Either she didn't read the cat behavior manual, or she's just confused. Either way, it's making it very hard for us to find her a home. If you have some time and are looking for a worthwhile project, Vera may be just the little cat for you! She's also eligible for our foster-to-adopt program if you're interested in working with her without committing to adopting her.
