Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dutchess is a purebred, red female bloodhound, approximate age 4-5 years. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and healthy. She has a great disposition with people and older children. She is a dominant girl, so always wants to be 'top dog' with the others in the household. However, she loves to play with them once she gets to know them. She would make an absolutely wonderful addition to a 'single dog' family. She is very vocal and loves to 'talk' to her humans. She is fed alone because she had to be put on a very serious diet when she entered foster care (about 50-60 pounds overweight), so she is very protective of her food. She is on a weight management diet now, losing weight with daily exercise, and doing wonderful. When she gets bored, she will dig in the yard or chew on her dog house. She prefers to be outdoors, but is housebroken. She seems to crave attention from women more than men. She loves to go for walks and her nose is always on the ground. Dutchess is a very sweet girl fostered in Spartanburg, SC.
