Murdock's Story...
Murdock (formerly Corky) is a 5 and a half month old dalmatian/fox terrier mix. He's about 30 lbs and most likely will remain the size he is now, which is on the smaller side. His coat is lightly spotted with the ears being the most prominent spotted areas. He's a playful, fun loving little guy that loves to cuddle up on the couch with you. He can be a bit shy of strangers but warms up quite quickly. He's learning what a crate is and is close to being housebroken but still needs a little work. He doesn't appear to have any formal training but we're working on the basic commands.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murdock, a Rochester/Buffalo Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian breeders who help with Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
