Jenny's Story...
More About Jenny -
Jenny is at the LA County Augora Shelter to give them a better chance of adoption. Jenny is identified as a Jack Russell but as we have rescued 5 of the original 21 dogs all related that were turned in by an illegal kennel owner in Baldwin Park, we feel they also have beagle and rat terrier in their mix. Jenny's Impound #A4054367 She needs rescue by a dog savvy person as she is scared and in the shelter environment. She will take patience and time to chill out but you will be well rewarded. We recommend a home an adult or home with older children and these dogs need to be in a dog proof and safe environment or they may flee due to fear. If you cannot provide that, then please don't risk their safety. Jenny is already spayed so can go home with you today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenny, a Lomita Rat Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Beagle for sale in Lomita, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in Lomita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lomita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lomita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lomita paves the way for another one to be saved.
