Tabitha's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tabitha's Story...
I'm a beautiful 6-7 month old white German Shepherd mix. My name is Tabitha & I weigh 45-50 lbs. I was found abandoned, tied to a tree. Not a nice thing to do to such a sweet lady. I'm an affectionate, friendly & gentle girl. How I love being close to people. The volunteers think that I never had much attention because I'm yearning to bond with a special someone. I'm still a baby, so energetic & playful. I'd really enjoy going to obedience classes to show you what an incredible intelligent dog I am. I'd do you proud! True to my shepherd nature, I am loyal & devoted. I'm good with other dogs, too. I've been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm/Lyme tested. If you can give me the love I've never had, please contact for an adoption application. Or, complete an application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tabitha, a Radford Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Radford, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Radford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Radford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Radford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Radford paves the way for another one to be saved.
