My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dudley is a handsome fellow who is only 1 1/2 years old. He is gentle, sweet and playful. Dudley is about 75 lbs. and is young enough that he still has some puppy energy. He loves to play with toys and loves for you to throw stuffies for him to catch. He is currently in the Second Chance at Life Greyhound Prison Program at Gadsden Correctional Institution near Tallahassee. He will graduate and be ready for his forever home in late March. When he graduates, Dudley will know the following commands: heal, sit, stay, come on recall, down, wait, shake hands, and will be house trained, crate trained, and responsive to voice commands. His inmate handler has sent an interim report that Dudley is a happy, playful and loving boy. He is eager to please, has great focus, and has mastered sit, down, stay, stairs, wait, and go into his kennel on command. He still needs some work on heel and walking on a leash. He is very excited to get where he is going, and tends to pull--but he is improving every day. We have not tested Dudley with cats, but we believe he will get along with them. He is gentle and loving, but may be too playful and strong for very small children. Dudley's adoption fee of $350 includes his training, transportation to and from the training facility, neuter, teeth cleaning, all vaccines, microchip, leash and collar, training DVD, grooming mit, tote bag, turn-out muzzle, and stuffie toy.
